We had a super guide who was very friendly and really engaged with the 17 young people on the tour . The walk covered every thing you can think of from social history to comments on the charactors involved . It was a no holds barred tour with no editting of the past ,which at times ranged exciting to sad . Great tour and would definitely do it again . It lasted about an hour and a half and it was all good ,but the cathederal is a must see - for the first recorded air mail alone .

We had three goals in the north of Ireland, to tour the natural sights, to learn about the "Troubles" and to visit two ancestral sites whose locations were unclear to us. Michael did some advance investigations and found the ancestral sites. Then he built them into the itinerary so that we could tour museums and castles, walk the wall in Londonderry, view the murals in Belfast and Derry and hike in breathtaking coastal areas.

I work with a number of cross community groups and as such we do tours of Derry / Londonderry on a regular basis. We have had a number of tours of Derry/ Londonderry over the years with different tour guides but I have found Micheal to be the best. He is very knowledgeable of the city and surrounding counties. I would highly recommend the Blue Badge tours to individuals, groups, visitors or locals.

The tour shows all areas of Derry, (the Catholic Bogside and the Protestant Waterside), the sight of the Bloody Sunday massacre and other murders and also the Museum of Free Derry. We were guided by Michael, whose historical knowledge of the 'troubles' was excellent. It is difficult to know where to go when visiting a new city, and also to avoid the tourist traps, so I highly recommend this tour to give you all of the information you need, ably guided by friendly and knowledgeable people.
