“School tour of Derry”

Michael Cooper has great knowledge of Derry's history and his enthusiasm and interest engaged the children in all the areas we visited as part of "Our Community " project. I would recommend Michael Cooper's Blue Badge tour for any school or group of children. It gives each child a great interest in their local locality whilst gaining knowledge of their past.

“Top-notch guide in Derry!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

Just back from a school trip to Northern Ireland with a group of 36 French students eager to discover the history of Northern Ireland and especially of Derry during the troubles. We have all- students and teachers alike- been fascinated by Michael's great knowledge of the issue and his enthusiasm. He is really friendly and has a good sense of humour! We also went to the Mussenden Temple with him and he told us the juicy side of the story, which was funny! I would recommend him without a moment of hesitation, and look forward to my next visit to Derry to meet him again. But beware of the wet weather and don't forget your umbrella! Thanks a lot Michael and see you soon!

“Tour of Causeway coast and Belfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

We did two day tour with Michael. The first day we went to Giant's causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge, Dunluce castle, Mussenden Temple and Bushmills distillery and the second one we went to Belfast where we saw the Titanic museum, the University, the murals, the Parliament, the citi of Hall and more. Both tours were fabulous thanks to Michael. He was very knowledgable and friendly and he has been able to answer all our questions. Moreover he picked up us in the morning to our bed and breakfast and brought us again there at the end of the tour. Thanks Michael for everything. I would recommend you to everyone.
