This was a beautiful home! Ann and Michael made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The rooms were very spacious, tastefully decorated, very modern bathrooms with heated towel racks, and robes with slippers were an added bonus. The location was perfect in that it was an easy walk in to Derry along the river. The breakfast was delicious and there was a beautiful garden patio area that we wish we had had some extra time to enjoy. We would highly recommend Troy Hall!

We stayed one night here on our way to the Giant's Causeway and wished we had booked in for longer in order to really enjoy this beautiful property. We were in the room in the turret which was enormous and there was plenty of room to spread out. The room was spotlessely clean and had many little touches such as robes and slippers, not found in other properties. Also, becoming more rare now, it had soap, shampoo and conditioner. Tea and coffee making facilities were included in the room, also becoming more and more rare. Internet signal was strong, and the property was centrally located. The breakfast was large and delicious and we enjoyed having the chanceto chat with Michael. He and his wife Ann are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed touring Derry and next time we will stay longer.

Stayed one night in this fantastic B&B but would have liked to stay longer. On arrival, we had a lovely chat with Ann, stayed in a huge room with a great ensuite and view from our window. Very clean and beautifully presented. Troy Hall is an amazing building - a pleasure to stay in. Ann suggested a great spot for dinner on the river. One of our favourite stays. Wished we had time to stay longer and will definitely stay there if we return.

My husband and I travelled with another couple to Ireland. While we moved around from place to place over the course of 10 days, Troy Hall was one of our favorite places we stayed. We had wanted to stay in a lovely B&B with Irish hospitality...and that is just what we got! Our room was so nice and clean. The bathroom seemingly had been recently updated (with a great shower!) and was spotless. The towels were fluffy and soft and there was even a towel warmer! The room itself was quite large, with a sitting area overlooking the property. I loved how homey everything felt. There were cookies for everyone in the room and a place to make coffee. Just outside the room was a communial refrigerator with fresh milk (for the cookies of course!). The beds were comfortable and there were the most wonderful, cozy blankets to cuddle up in on those rainy, cold Irish days. OH, and the FOOD! AMAZING! Michael and Ann made the most delicious Irish breakfast! Their cooking, combined with their lovely Irish charm, gave us just what we needed to start our day off right. This couple has done a wonderful job creating the perfect B&B for weary travellers. I highly recommend anyone give this one a try! You won't be sorry!

From the moment I arrived at Troy Hall (several hours early), Ann and Michael made me feel like a welcome guest into their home. Michael fixed coffee while Ann sat down with me in the lounge to chat and give me advice on what to do in Derry during my one-day stay. My room (the Culmore Suite) was spacious, clean and had a great view overlooking the property. Troy Hall is beautiful and just a quick, peaceful walk along the river to central Derry. This was my first time staying at a B&B - others will have a lot to live up to! Thanks again Ann and Michael!
