“Classic play presented by an excellent cast in a first class venue”
Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

The millennium forum is a modern theatre of notable design. Very comfortable and good facilities. Pleasant helpful staff at the box office and front of house. We were privileged to see Agatha Christie's 60 year record breaking "The Mousetrap" on tour and visiting wonderful Derry as part of City of culture activities. I can highly recommend the millennium which appears to well managed and offers wide program of events to suit all tastes.

We went to the Mousetrap on 17th June and the play was brilliant. unfortunately the millenium cafe was not. We went to get a coffee before the play started but the till was not working. The young girl who was serving was very apologetic but it was not her fault.
We came out at the interval to get a coffee. There were two girls serving and a fella on the till. We ordered a coffee and a milk got the coffee had to ask twice for the milk. While waiting for first coffee ordered two more coffees for friends. A woman in a suit was behind the counter and handed me a small takeaway cup which was only half full. At £2.10 for a coffee I expect more, had to ask the fella on the till to top up the cup.
While the staff were very polite and friendly I think the staff were disorganised . There should have been one serving the icecream, one on the hot drinks and one on the till. At the price you are charging you really need to improve the service in your cafe. I am writing as someone who has worked in cafes and know what I am talking about

Dear madam,

We apologise for your bad experience here in the Forum. It is unfortunate that at certain times, issues beyond our control do happen. Café Aroma has recently re-launched under new supervision and has in place a variety of service standards which now must be met by all staff. The Café has a new menu, new coffee, new equipment, and fantastic offers incl 20% for OAP’s and all students, all day, every day. A new City of Culture Retail shop, Live music and comedy nights all feature in the revamped Café Aroma on the walls.

We hope to get the chance again to show you our improvements, but many thanks for taking the time to leave your comments.

Kind regards,
Millennium Forum Management

“Enjoyable visit”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

The millennium forum is in the heart of the city, there are plenty of multi storey car parks in close vacinity, so parking is not an issue.

The building itself looks nice and modern, but does not look out of place with the city walls being close by.

The staff are very professional and helpful, understanding our needs and we look forward to visiting again if there is something on we'd like to see.
