Went with my family on a visit home. I had a stout and steak pie. It was well cooked and presented. A hearty meal. All of our party enjoyed their meals and the desserts were also quite nice. The while experience was made all the more enjoyable by our server who was very attentive and good humoured. Top notch.

We arrived on a Saturday night without a booking, the restaurant was very busy but were told if we could wait 20mins a table would be ready for us. For dinner we had chilli beef nachos and brushetta which were both lovely. We each had a fillet steak for main, mine was a little overcooked in parts but the cut of beef meant it melted in the mouth easliy. We also had side orders and sauces that were both really nice too. All in all nice food, good atmosphere, friendly staff, topped off with a lovely surprise of 30% off the total bill.

As a family of four we decided to dine at fitzroys not expecting too much.
We have been before both lunch and dinner with mixed impressions on both service and food.
This trip was very pleasant indeed. Not too busy thankfully so the staff were very efficient but not over the top.
The food was very tasty although the chowder could have been warmer it was good.
Couldn't fault the special fillet steak.
Yes we will be back.
Cheers guys.

Having been to this restaurant three times now I am wondering why I went back the second and third time.
The first time my wife and I had a burger and chips, soup and salad and a ginger beer between us. It tasted mediocre and when the cheque came it was less than £10. You may think this is great value, but it tasted like a soup, salad and burger that cost less than £10.
We went back twice (we were given vouchers for Christmas) and regretted each time.
The cost may be little, but so is the quality of the food.
The atmosphere was nice, staff were friendly and helpful and our kids loved the chicken goujons and chips.
If you want a cheap meal for the family go here.
