Description: Olive Bizarre is a delicious little spot in the harbour area of the town. You can enjoy exquisite teas/coffees with goodies galore and a view to die for. Our afternoon tea is highly recommended and our traybakes and scones will not fail to please. We have a vast range of savoury dishes and provide an array of gluten free and vegetarian foods. Our child friendly policy is also popular and to top it all our friendly team will make you feel very welcome. See you soon. John and Ciaraxox

Just had lunch in Olive Bizarre on Saturday and the food was first class. Would have loved a little more food for the price but otherwise it was soooo tasty. Infact everything that came out looked so tasty so hard to choose.

Stopped in for drinks and buns during a drive. Nice coffee, nice buns and pleasant service. Enjoyed our visit and we'd come back.

I am a regular visitor to olive bazaar due to its friendly atmosphere and great food.
They serve the nicest coffee in town with a lovely selection of cup cakes, fifteens etc.
I would also recommend the fish pie!
Well worth a visit!

Yesterday I took a group of 7 people including extended family from Argentina to Olive Bizarre and unfortunately our whole day was ruined through our experience with an extremely rude waitress.

My family have been regular visitors to the café for a long time and the food is invariably good - we will not, however, ever return again due to this experience. Even though my relatives from Argentina cannot speak English they were shocked at the behaviour of the waitress and found the whole atmosphere to be very tense.

This kind of behaviour not only demeans the café but also does a disservice to the people of Newcastle who are ordinarily so friendly to visitors. Please be very careful before choosing to eat here.
