12th century medieval castle ruin. We were able to explore the whole area and climb up into the castle keep...no charge. Climbing up the winding narrow stairs to the top gave you a feeling of what it must have been like to live in the old castle. Very small and cold and damp! The views of the bay were magnificent and it was obvious why this was the perfect spot for a defensive castle. We loved it and would encourage anyone who is in the area to visit this old historical site!
