Description: Denvir's is an old Coaching Inn dating from 1642. It is full of old world charm and is popular with both tourists and locals, so you will enjoy a real County Down welcome and fit right into the community. Food is served all day from breakfast through to dinner, and there is entertainment 5 nights per week from Wednesday to Sunday. Groups can be catered for in either of the restaurants, and management are happy to tailor packages to ensure full enjoyment. And finally, there are 6 bedrooms to let. So, forget about going home. Have a nice meal, enjoy the entertainment, a good rest, and then in the morning, enjoy some of the local historic sites such as St. Patrick's grave which are only a stone's throw from the Inn.

A great range of cocktails very reasonably priced, you can even order cocktails not on the list, ask for Willie, he makes a great cocktail.

Being fairly local to Denvir's you'd think I'd have visited this restaurant sooner but it wasn't till 2 weeks ago that I and a couple of friends decided to try it out. There is a 2 course menu for £10 Monday to Thursday and we ate from this. The bar was buzzing with both locals and tourists. We were told because they were so busy we might have to wait a bit longer than usual but the starters came within about 10 minutes which I didn't think unreasonable. The food was lovely, fresh and tasty. The barman was great craic. So to be sure it wasn't a one off I went back the following week with my husband and same again. Everything great. Some people have said it's hit and miss but so far for me it's been hit and hit. I'll certainly give it another go.

Lovely light and airy bar with good bar food and a very well priced restaurant for a broader menu all in historic surroundings! Friendly and helpful staff.
