“Definitely worth a visit”
Reviewed July 9, 2014 via mobile

We had lunch for 3. Tried 2 different soups - both homemade and very tasty. Bread made on the premises is great (I heard other diners asking to buy some to take home). Fish main course was delicious as was a chocolate truffle cake dessert. The staff are very pleasant and the interior has been given a makeover. Front windows with unbeatable view of cathedral and the fold back doors at the rear look into a sunny garden. In place where there are few passersby but definitely worth a visit. If you park in the top deck of St Patricks trian carpark it is only a short walk.

“WHAT A SUPERB RESTAURANT! WELL WORTH A VISIT”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

This restaurant is situated in a lovely spot opposite an old church. It has only been opened about six weeks but it is definitely well worth a visit. The food is gorgeous and fresh and we think it is also reasonable given the quality of the meal. We visited it yesterday (Sunday) and sat in the conservatory overlooking the city - delightful. Will most definitely be returning and will treat our son here when he visits us from England as he is very fussy and likes 'Good Food'.

“Top notch”
Reviewed July 5, 2014

Have just enjoyed a fantastic lunch in 4 Vicars. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and friendly, attentive staff. I had duck liver pate with apple jelly which was excellent and served with the most delicious wheaten bread I have ever tasted. Dessert was equally delicious as were the coffees. Everything about this little gem of a place oozes quality, from the food to the cutlery and crockery. Well worth a trip to the top of the hill!!

“A reunion at the Summer Solstice”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

This evening was the first evening that the newest restaurant in Armagh opened to the public, after gaining their wine licence. Ten of us met up in '4 Vicars' for a delicious meal, and in an atmosphere which was perfect for a reunion of friends from school days. It is a privilege to know that we were among the first customers to eat there on the first evening. May there be many more evenings like this! Congratulations and best wishes to the owners and staff. You made our evening special.
