This was my third visit - as a couple, as a group of fifteen and as a group of six. The restaurant is situated in the Palace Demesne in Armagh, a really lovely setting. The interior decor, menues, bistro layout is very different but 'fun'- look at their website to see what I mean. It was particularly nice at Christmas as the restaurant looks out to an enclosed courtyard which was beautifully decorated. Staff were very warm and friendly whilst maintaining professionalism and had a great knowledge of the menu and specialities. The restaurant is chef owned(Sean Farnan) and his suggestion to have the lamb 'pecan smoked' was superb. His wife Ramune was one of the friendly staff in the busy restaurant. Presentation was great and the food was really wholesome and good value. They have a lovely bar area although it was being used for a larger private function( which is good to know that you can book as it is really cosy in a modern sort of way). I will definately be back as will my guests. (One suggestion -They definately need to improve signage as unless you knew where the Council Palace Demesne was, you would have difficulty finding it)
