Reviewed August 15, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Absolutely loved it! Stayed for 2 nights in August, couldn't have been happier!

It's ideally located for everything on the North Coast - about 5 minutes drive from Ballycastle and Ballintoy.

The host, Eilish, was great - helped us find our way, and showed us around when we arrived - lovely welcome!

The barn itself couldn't have been better, clean and cosy and just delightful. There was a little welcome basket and everything! If you're staying in for the evening there's a fireplace and TV to curl up with. No wifi - but you shouldn't need it in the peace of the countryside.

Perfect little getaway spot - we'll definitely be back.

“So lucky we stayed here!”
Reviewed July 23, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

A beautifully converted, cozy Irish barn with a fireplace and very comfy furniture. A superbly secluded location at a walking distance to Ballintoy village and the stunning coast. Eilish, the owner, is an absolute pleasure to deal with. The only tiny quibble – if you plan to cook a lot – might be the lack of a dishwasher. Otherwise, pretty much perfect.

“What cute wee home!!”
Reviewed May 29, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Upon Arrival we immediately fell in love with the place. It is wonderfully secluded and in beautiful surroundings. No matter how far we travelled we LOVED to return each evening to 'our own wee place'.

For a single couple who want to be alone a while it is the ideal place. Back home now in Austria we are already missing the place.

Thanks Eilish for a wonderful stay.

The house as well as the owner/manager are perfectly charming. Very peaceful surroundings with cows, occasional rain and on average one car per 3 hours are the only things you can hear. A perfect getaway to relax, but also a good basis from which to explore the amazing coastline.
When you arrive, the owners have provided for everything: the beds are already made, there are towels, a tea towel, washing up liquid, fire wood and even peat for the fire place, the heating has been turned on, and there is even a welcome package with some food and wine.
Personally we thought that the pictures of the house on holidaylettings.com don't show in any way how cosy and comfortable this little house is: it is renovated and decorated very tastefully.
