We camped at glenmore house on august bank holiday weekend. The weather was awful but it didnt dampen our spirits!!
Campsite had a beautiful view of Rathlin and good clean facilities. The campsite had very poor drainage which was difficult in rainy muddy conditions.
We booked this because of the bar on site. Dissappointingly the bar closed at 10pm on sunday and we were left very far from ballycastle on a cold wet blustery night-with no shelter!
The following morning after a nice hot shower we went to the house for breakfast. Ironically we were put in the bar to have our breakfast. This seemed odd as other guests ate in the dining room. Quite unpleasant as there were empty beer glasses nearby left over from the night before.
Facilities were fine but service was less then hospitable.More
