On holiday near Ballycastle this week. We had heard about Mortons Fish and Chip shop and were not disappointed . In the shop we ordered 4 portions of Cod and Chips . Asked to wait while all was cooked fresh to order. The shop is clean and brightly lit with some seating which is useful. The order was duly processed and the family tucked in to some tasty cod and chips .

Went to visit family and stopped by for a sneaky fish and chips. Took advantage of the pollock special which was good value at £2.50 with a large fish and a handful of chips! Fresh and cooked to order.

There is a large car park next door where you can see everyone else eating the same thing (or having ice cream from the van! )

The fish in Mortons is the best I have ever tasted, the batter is light and the portions generous. I recommend the codling and the mackerel also the scallops which are seasonal. The fish is super fresh and well worth the 10 to 15 min wait.
The burgers etc are also good but dont miss out on the fish.
Staff are very friendly and efficient cant fault this place at all.
Always call in here on our way along the north coast.
Check on the opening times in the winter so your not disappointed.
