On arrival we were welcomed by a roaring fire...so homely. The early evening menu was definitely value for money but the a la carte menu looked great. I cant wait to return and try it. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

Been to central bar a few times now. It's a lovely place, both the upstairs restaurant and the downstairs bar. The food has always been delicious and the staff are very friendly. My latest visit was on Friday for lunch, I had the chicken Goujons and really enjoyed them, my husband and dad had the stack burger which was massive! Although neither left a pick! All very reasonably priced.

Defiantly worth a visit, for lunch or dinner. Ill be back!

Had dinner in the Central Wine Bar last Saturday. A bit quiet when we arrived but quickly filled up unsurprisingly.

Food was lovey, service was great - we were served by three or four people and each one as nice as the next.

Lovely atmosphere, smart and modern decor and certainly worth a visit. The only little bit of constructive critism I coudl offer is to maybe let the lighting stay on one setting - was a liitle disconcerting going from dark to very bright stripes of lighting.

Will be back

The Central is a great place for a drink or meal in Ballycastle. The food is invariably good and service is great. There is the option to eat downstairs in the bar or upstairs in the restaurant, both are lovely.
