On boarding the ship you can watch a short film about the battle of Jutland, then follow the route round the rest of the ship viewing the cabins, dining areas, galley, hospital and rest areas. A trip down into the engine room, with its sound effects should not be missed. There’s a cafe and gift shop on board too.

I enjoyed it despite my concern I wouldn’t. Interesting story about the Battle of Jutland. Plenty to see and overall worth a visit.

Great video of Jutland battle to set the scene, followed by an audio tour that brought to life actual people who served on board. Clambering up and down stairs to visit all levels of this beautifully preserved warship was really interesting! The many displays and explanatory pictures were fascinating.

A real piece of history, one of the last WW1 naval vessels afloat and the last ship that participated in the Battle of Jutland.

Excellent restoration ( I remember seeing her years ago through a fence before it was restored) with very interesting audio visual presentation (although a little basic) on the battle. Good self guided your, but a more displays on the ship's own history on board rather than some of the general displays would have been good.

Reasonably priced (ticket valid for a year) and lots of parking
