Quite simply one of the nicest meals I've ever had.

Food was exquisite from start to finish - not an uncommon experience here.

Thoroughly recommended - I doubt you'll be disappointed!

First time visit, everything was perfect, pre theatre menu was great, I had curried cod with rice, well presented and the flavours were awesome. Don't normally do deserts but we couldn't resist at just £2 extra. OMG just amazing, choc brownie for me and lemon cheescake for my husband. 3 courses just perfect in everyway and a bottle of wine for 2, £69. Thanks Tedfords for a lovely Saturday night meal.

Visited tedfords on Valentine's evening for the first time. Arrived and we were sat down at table without food or drink menus. Approx 10 minutes later we were given drinks menu..I enquired into food menu and was rudely told to wait. We finally ordered drinks about 25 minutes after being sat at the table. Food order was then taken about 10 minutes following this however we still did not have our drinks. Two different staff members approached and asked what we had ordered to drink. Approx 35 minutes after being sat at table we then got our drinks order.

Starters came out..both beautifully presented. However one was not what we had ordered. Mains were also very good. Unfortunately throughout the meal..the service was very slow and messy. This was deeply disappointing due to the quality of the food, however due to the awful service I doubt that we would return to tedfords.

Had a wonderful dinner here recently with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday.
The food was in my opinion some of the best, locally sourced and perfectly presented plates that I have ever had..

The service was very attentive to our requirements with the wine reasonably priced..

We went to the little bar downstairs afterwards for some after dinner cocktails and overall had a fantastic night..

Menu had a great selection, with gorgeous combinations of flavours.

Maitre d sent us down to the bar (despite restaurant being empty) for 20 minutes even though we were on time.

Service all round was unpolished and sloppy. Table of 8 (rectangle) and covers were mixed up despite none of us switching seats. Very coarse unpolished manner of speaking to us ("yousuns alright?" Rather than "is everything alright with your meals?"...not exactly what you'd expect from a high end restaurant), and lacked basic training of simple things such as waiting until the entire table has finished to clear plates.

Food was utterly gorgeous, wonderfully presented and delicious from start to finish. We had entrees, mains and desserts and none of us were disappointed - only that we couldn't order everything!

All in all, if the service aspect is rectified, this is a great spot to go for dinner.
