Excellent restaurant. We found this place situated right in the middle of university area. They were very friendly and kind. The location was excellent and close to botanic station. We had drinks which were a bit expensive, amazing oven fired pizzas amd some delicious desserts. I rec this to anyone and would definitely come back again. Thank you the the staff and chef.

“Lovely food, pleasant staff”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is one of the less well known restaurants in Belfast's Botanic area but has the potential to make it as one of the best.
It has recently been taken over by a new owner and rebranded to its current name Restaurant 25.
On arrival we were shown to our table by a pleasant manageress.
A drink order was taken whilst we browsed the menu.
The menu is quite extensive, but I opted for a gluten-free alternative chicken dish with peppered sauce. My girlfriend had a lovely lasagne which she was more than pleased with. The meal which was served with roast vegetables and potatoes was very tasty although the peppered sauce lacked taste-not very peppery! It was more like a gravy.
The food was served within a normal timescale.
I would however suggest that a wider selection of side dishes would broaden the menu choice, particularly at lunchtime if a main meal is not required. Sandwiches, soup, Italian filled bread etc would be a big lunchtime hit.
Dessert selection was limited and although we didn't opt for a dessert because there was nothing gluten free on the menu, the desserts that were being served to other customers looked nice.
The tea and coffee was first class and served by a very pleasant waiter who was very attentive.
With a few minor improvements to the menu, Restaurant 25 can be a big hit.
It's an ideal spot for couples, small groups or for a larger function meal.
Well done to all concerned.

“Lovely and nice price”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

I had the special which was a 10inch pizza and American beer for £5 which is pretty good. The atmosphere is nice even though neighborhood looks kind of sketchy at times only because it is a university neighborhood. The staff was very attentive. We had a pleasant experience.
