I just had my 40th Birthday celebrations in Belfast, and 6 of us stayed here on 'The weekend experience.'
The hotel is very impressive, and the staff are all very friendly and efficient.
We had dinner on the Friday evening in 'The Great Room' restaurant- the food was very good and the service was faultless.
One of our party felt a little unwell, and the restaurant staff dealt with this extremely well- I can't thank them enough.
I love the spa bath on the roof of the hotel with its glass screens- this is a good idea to stop any breeze from making you cold.
We stayed in one of the freshly refurbished Art Deco rooms which has a great wetroom style bathroom attached. Lovely comfortable bed and quiet room.
All in all a great experience...

After arriving my girlfriend had left her gloves on the dash of the car. Five minutes after turning over the keys to the bell staff came a knock at our door. On a silver platter (literally), neatly crossed, were her gloves. "Madam, you might be needing these. It's quite chilly outside." Our second evening we returned from sight seeing a bit late and had not reserved a table for dinner. The concierge, William, not only booked a table for us at a local spot but walked us about 1/4 mile to the place! The room was exquisite. The bar is unparalleled. The dining room is regal. All facilities are top notch but the true treat, the reason for staying, is the staff. They are extremely professional without being snooty. I found all to be very friendly in that unmistakeable Irish fashion. Genuinely warm, sincere and likeable folks that seem to enjoy their job and making their guests feel welcome and pampered. I would return to Belfast just to stay here.

It was a great experience starting from reservation up to the airport drop. We stayed here for 3 nights for our 10th year anniversary. Reservation was flawless. Been picked up by the Rolls Royce from the airport. Had a great room at the victorian wing. Got full attention from the staff. Everybody was extremely nice and helpful, especially the concierge: arranging black cab tour, concert tickets, tours, restaurant reservations, etc... Bert's Jazz Bar: A must!!! It is one of the best hotels i have every stayed at, if not the best. Yes, it's not cheap, but they deserve every penny. I hope we'll have the chance to visit Belfast again and spend our time here once more.

One of the best hotels in Belfast in my opinion. Pricy but you get what you pay for. the bar with the fireplace is without a doubt the perfect winter hide out. Bedrooms in the old part of the hotel are amazing. I didn't see the new ones. Food and staff also excellent.

Very disappointed by the cleanliness and general appearance and upkeep of the room. On initial appearance the room design was stunning, although there was a large feature mirror in the room, approx 6ft in height and when the light was turned on it was extremely dusty and a previous resident had wrote "clean me" on the mirror in the dust. This was so disappointing on so many levels, mainly when I spend that amount of money I expect a high standard of hygiene and not to be reminded that someone else was there in the room before you. Also the toilet roll holder was hanging of the wall in the bathroom. I told the receptonist who appeared to disbelieve me, very rude, and did not even apologise, breathtaking. However our experience in the reminder of the hotel facilities and in relation to customer serivce particulalry in the cocktail bar and Berts was positive.

We would use the public facilities again, but will not be staying.
