Loved the feel of the place. Interesting building and good location close to the centre of the city and walking distance to most attractions. Parking was at a commercial car park not far from the hotel and parking spaces in the street were always taken which makes it difficult to load and unload luggage. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and despite being on a busy road any road noise was not noticeable. The food in the restaurant was good and well presented and the chef leaves a good impression. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Sunday in the Brassiere - afternoon special - all you can eat starter made for you by the chef right in front of you - selection of generous main courses that are both traditional and also a bit exotic - followed by a selection of generous desserts. All for £19.95 (although there is a 10% service charge to be added!) bringing total to £22 per person. Child under 12 dine for £7.95

This is no chicken goujons, garlic mayo and fries experience. I challenge you to come here and dine and not feeling that you have eaten way too much!

Only word of caution - mind your drinks bill! Not cheap to start with and also subject to the 10% service charge.

Give yourself plenty of time on a Sunday afternoon and bask in the opulence that is the Brasserie at Malmaison

Stayed a couple of nights here recently. I like the Mal chain which are a v reliable funky chain, usually in v interesting buildings and well sited close to the heart of the action. Malmaison Belfast did not disappoint. It's a lovely old building and tastefully converted to hotel. Yes I can understand that some may find the darkish decor not to their taste but I quite like it. Location is v convenient for everything I would have thought one would want in central Belfast. Breakfast xcellent and staff helpful. Only drawback was we were placed in a disabled room. Great if we were in a wheelchair but not if you are able-bodied which meant everything in the bathroom was difficult .
We also got a fantastic deal ontis hotel and a ess than £100 per ugh twitch breakfast t was great value

I stay here often whilst on business in Belfast. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of the city centre and Central Station, the bus stop for the bus to City Airport is also around the corner in Queen's Square. The rooms are spacious, if at times a little dark, with nice bathrooms. The breakfast is very good - one of the best in a hotel in Belfast. Staff are friendly, professional and efficient.

Room Tip: Avoid the first floor!

Very good hotel, staff and service excellent however it was a very uncomfortable nights sleep.

There is a 4 lane road straight outside the front of the hotel which is noisy ALL night and the mattress has the structure of the floor. Strange to have very soft pillows (using all 4 to support head) but a rock solid bed - exactly like sleeping on the floor. Even for the deepest of sleepers normally (me) it was a very broken nights sleep - waking probably 12 times due to a mixture of noise and comfort. As an aside - no aircon didn't help either as the windows couldn't be opened due to the noise from the road.

Other than that it was a superb hotel and the staff were very good... I would put it down perhaps to 1 bad room rather than the hotel as a whole.

Room Tip: Avoid a room near the front of the hotel - I had 110.

Stayed here for one night while celebrating our wedding anniversary in Belfast. We enjoyed it very much, the room was great, very clean, very comfy bed, nice modern bathroom with plenty of little bottles which all had funny messages on them (the one on the shower gel said ‘take me home…if you dare!’), a nice touch. Their marketing should give themselves a pat on the back, the whole info pack you get in your room was very well done with loads of character and humour. Some snacks and a bottle of wine in the room were another nice touch and at £15 (for red wine) was reasonably priced we thought. The room was a bit warm and we were overlooking some office building rather closely, but other than that we have nothing to complain about. The room had everything a 4* hotel should have, but with style! The décor is a bit dark, it wouldn’t be everyone’s taste, but its soft and luxurious with plenty of velvets and soft cushions.
Anyway, the reception desk staff were great and the whole place had a very nice atmosphere. We missed the breakfast (slept-in), so can’t comment on that. The location is superb for Belfast Cathedral Quarters right on the doorstep and Titanic Quarters within walking distance.
It’s worth noting that hotel does not have parking and with it being in the centre of the city it is an inconvenience.

I just had a wonderful weekend at the Belfast Malmaison. The staff were out of this world 1st class. My fiancee has Multiple sclerosis & the attention she received was overwhelming. I shall certainly return to this wonderful hotel for another stay. The food was out of this world the attention to detail was 1st class.
