My friend and I went for dinner here on Saturday night and I must say we were both really impressed! We left it very late to book but even though it was an early sitting, there was a great atmosphere in the place and lots of choice on the menu.
I could have eaten any of the starters but settled on the goats cheese and beetroot salad with walnut brittle which was delicious and having had similar starters in various restaurants, this is definitely one of the best I've had! My friend had the sizzling spicy prawns, which she said were delicious. I found them very spicy but then I don't eat a lot of spicy food, but if you did they'd be perfect. She also asked for extra bread which was brought promptly and with no issue.
Again with the mains there was so much choice, but we both love scallops, so in the end both chose the king scallops with risotto and it was beautiful! It's been a long time since I've had such juicy, sweet scallops in Belfast and a real treat.
We also had a bottle if wine, 2 cocktails, (which they gave us on the house as they were trying out new ones, always bonus points) and a coffee and peppermint tea and all in it was £63 which I think for the quality of the service and food, was great!
There is so much competition for good restaurants in Ballyhackamore but Graze certainly stands out as doing something that little bit different to the rest! I'll definitely be back!
