Description: Graze RestaurantAt GrazeOur approach is simple. We have a passion for flavour, quality ingredients, and for creating an atmosphere that is comfortable, affordable and a haven for people who simply love food and drink. Laid-back and down to earth, Graze is part neighbourhood eatery and part elegant bistro. Soft lighting and an unexpected quirkiness encourage guests to settle in, get comfortable, and have a great time.

This place is so good that I had to come back and review it again. At the time of writing my previous review, it was based on our initial experiences of Graze. We have now been back multiple times - maybe a little too much! However, it is local to us and even if it wasn't, I would still recommend travelling to it for the overall quality of food, service and ambience. I have recommended this restaurant to a lot of friends- which I do not tend to do unless I am very sure that it will deliver consistently. So despite our multiple visits to Graze, there is still enough range in the menu to be able to choose from a varied selection on each visit, especially due to always having tempting specials on offer- particularly the seafood. For starters, we particularly like the scallops, the squid, sizzling prawns or fishcakes with poached egg- actually they are all great. In addition to having had a range of main courses and specials, we have also tried most of the desserts now and all have been tasty. As other reviewers have said, the coffee and petit fours (including great macaroons) is a good option if you feel too full for a more substantial dessert. Always like having this as an option at dessert stage- sometimes opt for the petit fours at Balloo House also (random aside). Since our original visit, we have been in for the Sunday sharing roast which was lovely, lunch and also their early-bird style deal which is available early evening Tues-Thurs and includes a carafe of wine and two courses for £25. The latter is excellent value and is especially good for a pre-theatre type meal- indeed we had the fish cakes to start and the seabass main last night again before heading to the Lyric which worked out perfectly. As mentioned before, the service here is good and the owner and all the staff deliver to an extremely high standard in a professional manner (which unfortunately you do not always find in Northern Ireland eateries)- they are friendly and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Wine is also good- the only thing I have yet to try is a Graze cocktail but I expect this will be happening within a matter of days. Keep up the great work guys.

This restaurant has only been opened for the past 5 weeks but they are receiving rave reviews and rightly so. Small but full of life. Food was excellent and not overly priced which is surprising for Belfast. Staff extremely efficient yet approachable. They do some great coctails, try their Christmas one. Well worth a visit.

Graze has the most amazing range of food on offer, the staples are there but if you fancy something a bit different you will be well catered for. I went for Lazy Sunday with friends and had the cassoulet, which was fresh and gorgeous. The roast looked amazing too. Atmosphere was perfect, low lights, large window looking out onto Ballyhack on a Sunday afternoon as the sun went down, a really perfect spot for a relaxing catch up with pals. Will be back!
