It is strange that Belfast boasts so many Italian restaurants that consistently fail to deliver an enjoyable experience. Dublin has many reasonably priced quality family Italian restaurants.
Amici now fills that void for Belfast. Very well worth a visit in friendly efficient surroundings.
It would be churlish not to mention another newish arrival Giacomos on Malone Road
May they both maintain standards and flourish

Amici keeps surpassing itself. Over the past year I have visited at lunchtime, early evening for the Pre Theatre meal offer and later for the a la carte menu. We have never been disappointed.
Friendly, informed staff, relaxing and comfortable ambience complementing an innovative menu using the freshest ingredients. This restaurant is a real gem on the Lisburn road.

I love the antipasti as a prelude to the main course. Try the slow roast beef - melt in your mouth! The sea bass is superb. The problem is that you are are spoilt for choice.

Grazie, Amici,

a la prossima volta,

Martin D

Visited yesterday evening with friends who had recommend Amici.
Greeting by a very welcoming smile & cheery good evening. We elected to go for the pre- theatre menu €12.50 for two courses (served 5pm/7pm).
Four different starters zucchini deep fried, choice of bread & oils,pâté and aranici each excellent and would gladly have either one as my main course particularity the aranici.
To follow three sea bass, awesome fresh, one would think it had just been caught a few minutes earlier and a mains of pollo al limone again presentation and flavours all Michelin star standard.Another suggestion is spaghetti ai fruiti de mare.Do not leave without trying their home made lemon tart, just like your mother would make only a LITTLE bit better.
Visit Amici sooner rather than later ,when the word spreads how good Amici is you will definitely struggle to get a reservation.
THANK YOU to all the staff for a wonderful evening we look forward to our next visit.

Thank Hugh C

Italian culture really understands food, family and friends, and this most appropriately named restaurant certainly bears this out. Decor is modern and pleasing, the atmosphere is warm, and welcoming. Staff and service are excellent, and they do make you believe that they are pleased to see you. The food is well cooked and presented by a chef who clearly understands the ingredients he works with. Daily specials are always worth investigation, as indeed are the more traditional pastas...the Manzo Ragu deserves a special mention!! Lunchtime dining is equally good, and the small plates/tapas make a perfect light lunch. The wine list is small, but comprehensive. The House wines offer particularly good value. Amici is a hugely welcome addition to the Lisburn Road. It serves food throughout the day, and its blend of food and service intelligence will surely ensure its longevity.

I just love the warm welcome, ambiance and menu.
House red is amazing.
Daily specials on offer mean there always is an element of surprise.
Small sharing starters mean that you can pick and mix and decide which is your favourite for next visit.
Coffee is delicious too.
