“Good Value Hotel”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

Simple, but really clean, accommodation. Good for one night as we came to visit Titanic Belfast. Friendly helpful staff. Just across the road is a Tesco express which is really useful for drinks and snacks for your room. Plenty of restaurants very close by for meals. Would recommend.

Good for the money. Not a hotel for a romantic night away but clean and simple and does the job if all u need is somewhere to sleep. Close to the city centre. Missing simple luxuries like tea and coffee. Staff very helpful.

very small room. wouldnt want to stay more than one night. prefer to have sink in bathroom and couldnt find a fan for it. was clean and comfortable enough but had booked 2 rooms seperately and was happy enough paying the 27 for one room but the 44 for the other couple was too expensive for what it was

Thank you for your feedback. We treat all of our comments with the utmost seriousness.
Even with increased rates due to high demand and full occupancy (as all hotels in the area), we are still at the budget end of the market within the city centre.

Good as always! Staff annoyed me a bit, i rang prior to the trip to make etap aware i had booked an extra night but could I stay in the same room. I got to the hotel and the girl eventually seem to be aware of this and mentioned how i'd called. She said she would make a note so all staff where aware. Then we left the following morning to go for food, and are room card no longer worked. Like was it really that hard of a thing to understand. I then asked the receptionist to make are key work again, and she was like "oh, do you want to extend your stay/" and im like, nooo, can I just have the room for the 2 nights I booked and a key card to work for the whole time I'm there!! I'll still be back! but oh my days, why pretend you understand if you dont grasp it.

Just back form a long weekend staying at the Etap Belfast. Excellent value for money. Very modern clean hotel with excellent service. On arrival greater by a very friendly girl who made check in very pleasant. Room excellent, bed comfortable, asked for more pillows and they were delivered to our room immediately. Previous reviews had commented on noise but I did not find this, very quiet.

Breakfast was very good with lots to eat. Staff went out of there way to be helpful, even booking us a table for dinner at a local restuarant.

Would definately recommend this hotel, and will stay again when visiting Belfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the quiet end of the hotel

Stayed there for three nights while on the conference. Initial problem with booking, I originally booked through booking.com and this is where the problem was. After sorting it out, checked in. Rooms are small and minimalistic, basic but practical and clean. Strange set up, toilet doors can't be locked(!) and shower is almost in the room.

Still, I recommend it especially considering the price.
