Owner description: The SS Nomadic is known as Titanic's little sister. Built at the same time, by the same people, in the same Harland and Wolff shipyard as Titanic, Nomadic brought those boarding the great liner at Cherbourg to the ship. That was the start of an adventurous life, as she played a part in WW One and Two, carried many famous people to the great trans-Atlantic liners, became a floating restaurant in Paris and was saved from being scrapped by the people of Belfast. Now completely refurbished as a visitor attraction, you can walk in the footsteps of history, learn her story, and become part of the new chapter of her dramatic existence.

Belfast Titanic Experience is a worthy tourist attraction, but it's neighbour the SS Nomadic is the real deal! They've made a great job of it's restoration and the displays within are excellent. You can dress up as passengers and crew which makes for amazing photo opportunities! The very moving thing about the visit was the realization of all the history this little vessel has been witness to. It's very fitting that it has returned to its birthplace restored to all its original glory.

Went to this as have a friend who lives beside it and have seen it being built over this last few years so thought we had to go.
Have to say wasn't expecting a lot to see and thought it would have been over in no time !
I was well surprised with the size off the Nomadic when actually on her and think the tour is a definite must for any titanic enthusiasts or visitors alike !
Very well done and a beautiful ship, A credit to the workmanship which went into restoring this .
Def worth a visit.

Our visit to Nomadic was a pleasant surprise. Being a new attraction all we knew was that the Titanic Belfast Museum recommended it as one of these things to do while in the Titanic Quarter. The Nomadic was built to run tender service for the Olympic class ships in Cherbourg, France, and like the ships she was serving the Nomadic also has three separate classes for passengers. This little ship has quite the storied history over the past century. The Nomadic recently finished being restored to her original condition at her birthplace, The Harland & Wolf Shipyard. The Nomadic is right next to Titanic Belfast and makes a great addition to the Titanic Quarter. We found the staff onboard to be very knowledgeable and friendly. They'll tell you all you want to know about this interesting little ship or they'll let you read all the placards if you like. I would allow around two hours for a visit. We went late in the afternoon and an hour and half later we were still onboard when she closed for the day. We didn't know they were closing and instead of just simply kicking us out they let us leave with a memory and thrill. To announce the ship's closing I was allowed to climb the ladder on the ships funnel and pull the steam whistle chord 3 times announcing the closing. They also took our picture on deck at the ship's wheel before we left. Our visit to Nomadic certainly turned out to be a great memory. So when planning your trip to the Titanic Quarter make sure your put the Nomadic on your list. It will help round out your Titanic history experience.

We went in July weather was fab. This ship has been restorted to a high standard and the tour was very interesting from when the ship was built to it's role in the war and then a restraunt in France and then back to Belfast. Our 2 children loved the dressing up area and the staff were very frendly and helpfull telling us about the different area's on the ship a must tour in Belfast.

As a Titanic geek visiting the SS Nomadic whilst in the area was a must. The ship really does look great. We really thought the mixture of boards to read, interactive displays and staff really worked. Came away with a really good feel about the how she came about, the passengers and crew and her life.

I would say we enjoyed Nomadic far more than the Titanic Experience, it is certainly far more authentic.

Recommended.
