“My Era.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

I was born & grew up here, seen the riots, marches, lived through the troubles, but apart from all that, I was happy here, my childhood, my primary school, which is now gone, I actually lived in Cupar street, Bit scary at night, but then i think that was the feeling of all the lovely people who lived on both sides pf the wall. I have good memories here & of course not so very good one's, i was only 10yrs old when the troubles started, but in those days, every one helped each other, unfortunately that was short lived when the troubles started. It's completely changed now beyond recognition from my time, but when there, i can feel the emotion, the hurt, the angst of the families. All of the Art work is symbolic & it's our history, what we grew up with. At least the colours brighten up the place & it is very much worth a visit, a definite must see. A lot of history here, my history, for its were i grew up.

“A piece of history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

this was a very emotional place. walk along the street and read the emotions of the peoples. the different factions of people, their heart-felt feelings, the horror of the times. the artwork was so symbolic, the phrases as well.

“Powerful sight.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

It is definitely worth a visit. The artwork is amazing, flawless and very colourful (which tries to bring some joy and happiness for those who are seeing the mural), however it is still a powerful symbol of the division and segregation of the city.
