It is definitely worth a visit. The artwork is amazing, flawless and very colourful (which tries to bring some joy and happiness for those who are seeing the mural), however it is still a powerful symbol of the division and segregation of the city.

Went on a pre booked tour with Joe McCulloch it was amazing hearing about the troubles and listening to him explain the wall murals, he was very informative and looked after us well, great value for money as we were not rushed and could ask any questions, this was my favourite of our short break adventures, it was also the favourite of the other three amigos I travelled with, many thanks to Joe you are a legend.

The murals and barbed wire are very powerful and evoke emotion. They help you to understand the points of view of the people. As it was getting dark, we hopped in a black taxi to complete our experience. We ate at Failte, which was full of people and festive and then walked back to the place we were staying at.

This is certainly worth a visit. The artwork is very interesting and quite a contrast to the oppressive wall!

Very easy to get here, just outside the City. We got there through the Catholic side of the city. Once you see the wall it elicits a lot of feelings and emotions. wall has many different parts to it with a lot of paintings on it as well as a lot of graffiti with some curse words so be prepared. I definitely recommend seeing this to help you get a better understanding to the impact of the conflict there.
