Absolutely fantastic, we were advised to go at 2130 hrs and to claim a seat, the band came on around 2230 and the fun started. What an atmosphere, what brilliant irish traditional music, the place was jumping all the way into the early hours. This is a must visit late evening experience. Highly recommended

We were here on a Sat. evening and it was extremely busy. Which I guess is normal- our son is living in Belfast at this time and has been here several times. He wanted us to experience the singing, dancing but the Irish band wasn't going to start until 11:00 pm (which is too late for us!!) But we did have a couple of drinks, our son had to go up to the bar to get them- it was too busy to get waited on. We also managed to find two seats (although there was three of us). There was a two man band playing while we were there but it was old American songs. They were good but we wanted to hear the Irish. So, we were disappointed but somewhat our own fault as we didn't want to stay till later.

Fibbers is at the back of Robinson's Bar and is a nice bar, but it's dead during the day. All the punters are in Robinson's. However, it comes into it's own after dark, and get quite packed, not a place to go for a quite night. But you have the best of both worlds here, as the two bars are connected by a door, and one can nip between one and the other. And there's always the Crown bar next door, in case you don't like either of these.
