We went to this restaurant today for lunch. Service was restrained and polite. The menu was interesting, the decor is simple but contemporary and tasteful. We ordered Caesar salad, soup, breads with tapenade and some chips. The food was excellent and good value. It was well prepared and presented. We would really recommend this place and we plan to go back soon for Sunday lunch. So much better than Deane and Decano where we went last week which was rubbish by comparison . Sadly, D&D was busy and Shed was quite quiet. Hopefully this will change as D&D does not deserve the business whereas Shed does.

My girlfriend and I went to Shed a few days ago for lunch and were very impressed with the high quality of food, restaurant is quite small which creates a cozy atmosphere, we liked the open plan design and the staff were professional and friendly. We had the cheeseburger and the char-grilled chicken with two drinks, total cost of the meal came to just under £20. Would defiantly return.

This is a superb restaurant run by a very professional young team. Sunday afternoons in Belfast has few
really nice facilities other than some fine pubs . This is an oasis . My requirements were small but I was treated with
with warm and friendly staff , despite the place being full . Give this place a visit . I hope to return.
Thank you .

Thank you very much for your kind comments and review. We really appreciate you taking the time to send your feedback, including a wonderful recommendation! Fantastic food, value for money, service quality and a happy atmosphere are all key parts of the Shed Experience and we are glad you enjoyed your meal and time with us. The open plan kitchen is a feature you mention which many people really enjoy. Watching Gilles, Gareth and the chefs at work is a real treat, and many make their menu choices by watching the gantry as well as viewing the menu! Thank you again, and we will see you soon back at Shed. Eithne

Went to Shed on Belfast's Ormeau Road on Saturday night and found it to be very enjoyable, with a great atmosphere, very but not overly, attentive staff and great food. The menu was reasonably wide in its range, with both of us going for the chilly squid starter which was very good, though not quite as good as that on offer at Home, in the city centre. My wife had the chicken which was superb, whilst I went for a trusty burger with pepper sauce, which again was very tasty, and for a tenner, very well priced. All in all, I'd recommend it for a no frills, enjoyable Friday night out, and it is a very welcome addition to the rather limited food offering on the Ormeau road.
