In the very cosmopolitan area of St Anne's Square in Belfast's cathedral quarter, this cafe "Chopin" has been a real oasis - the quality of cuisine and its presentation is excellent and the staff are utterly professional and welcoming - going out of their way to remember each client's specific tastes and favourites and making each new visitor feel at ease and sure to return.
I've regularly enjoyed the eggs benedict (with salmon in place of ham) and the lunch/dinner deals are excellent - they even kindly agreed to open the restaurant on a closed day for a friend who wanted to host a BYOB evening there for friends - could not be more accommodating.
Full marks - get in to see the place if you can - top chef, top service, top marks on all fronts!!!

Chopin has crisp cafe feel, but the food is of top restaurant quality. Facing the new Mac theatre in St Anne's Sq behind cathedral this place has delicious eggs benedict for breakfast, lovely soup and sandwiches for lunch and great value 2 courses for £10 pre-theatre menu from which I'd recommend the Goats cheese tart and the Seafood Linguine. Service is great and you can also bring your own favourite bottle of wine in the evening for small corkage, amazing.

What a superb café, Chopin Grand Café is located behind the picturesque Belfast Cathedral. It is beautifully fitted out establishment and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Classical music playing in the background and the place is spotless. The food is also excellent with a large selection of starters and mains to choose from. My selection was excellent until I tried the apple pie, it was the best ever apple pie I have ever tasted. In fact I have been back several times. Also look out for the cherry chocolate cake again out of this world. I now know the owner by her first name so Joanna well done and keep up the very high standards. One thing I forgot to mention to all you coffee drinkers, you won’t be disappointed with the delicious coffees on offer. Once again Jo fantastic place see you soon.

Gorgeous place in the heart of St Annes Square. Interior decor is fantastic, something very quirky, stylish and different for Belfast. The food is great, versatile and fresh. The pre theatre menu at £10 for two courses is a steal and the restaurant also offers byo. Such a wonderful deal to be had in a gorgeous setting. Coffee and patisserie is also an exciting treat to be had whatever time of day it is and freshly made on premises. Service was also polite and easy, not intrusive and very knowledgable and helpful. It really is a must place to dine in and make it a regular dining experience. Well done Chopin Grand Cafe!

I have to state this restaurant is not in aldergrove it's inbelfast city centre at the back of St AnnesCathedral. Now for the food my hubby and I went here for a quickbite to eat after shopping and managed to catch the pre theatre 2 courses I had the goats cheese tart with onion marmalade, it was actually the tastiest tart I had ate in months should be called the lovliest lightest goats cheese tart in theworld ....then I had the thai chicken curry ( know rhese should not go together ) but like the tart it was made with such a light touch yet packed with flavour that anything would have went with it. Hubby had the tomato and basil soup which he said was moreish and for a person that doesn't like soup that said it all.pork and leek sausages were next which he loved. A big cheer for brill food in Belfast.
