“Pulled Pork Bap is amazing!”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

If you are looking for hearty fayre on a budget look no further than Bubbacue. The menu is limited but what they do serve, they do very well indeed. The location looks horrible - at the back of M&S - but once you're inside you're transported to a diner that could be anywhere in the American mid-west. I love the pulled pork sandwich and fries and their homemade ice tea is really lovely - served in jam jars!

Staff are friendly, prices are fair and the food is delicious. Will definitely be back!

“Awesome American Style BBQ in Belfast”
Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

This place is great, so great I end up eating lunch there 1/2 times a week with work colleges.

Food tastes amazing and prices are very reasonable. Huge selection of homemade BBQ sauces are available on the table, make sure and give them all a go. Extra Smokey is my personal favourite.

So glad to have a place like this is Belfast :)

“Simply the best BBQ food in the country”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

I've travelled to America many times and am adamant that American BBQ food is the best on the planet. Bubbacue are the only place I've seen come remotely close to the quality and taste and in fact could give them a run for their money. The place is simply fantastic and I have no higher praise!

“Love BBQ then you will Love Bubbacue”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

A little hard to find as the side street that it is situated on appears at first to be used only as delivery points for some of the larger stores in the area but persevere its worth it .Situated next door to a Subway unit which is easier to spot .
You order at the counter on arrival and hopefully not too long of a wait for a table .Your allocated a number and food will dropped down to your table and our experience was by extremely friendly staff.
If you enjoy a beer with the food the beer menu is separate from the main menu and they give a choice of approx 8 American craft beers ,had a couple of the Blue Moon lagers and went down smoothly.i had the pulled pork platter and my wife had ribs platter both were really excellent and you need a good appetite to finish the platters as they come with several side options like a variety of coleslaws , beans ,mac & chees, and yummy corn bread . The only slight negative was that the skinny fires and the pulled pork were not as warm as I would have liked .
Type of restaurant where you get a limited menu , quick service ,big portions , glass of homemade lemonade or a beer and move on . Open for lunch but be aware that it closes at 8 pm.Typical food that you would get served up on the southern states of America.

“Excellent food, great price”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

I stopped to have a very late lunch on a Friday afternoon at around 3 PM. The place was packed, already a good sign....

It took only a few minutes to get my order, and I found a table.

I had the Pulled pork platter with Mac & Cheese and fries as side orders... The whole platter was delicious, the pulled pork was tender, the coleslaw and cornbread complemented everything else very well.

Root Beer was available so perfect meal and big portions.

My only regret, no combo with pulled pork and brisket as I left the next day and couldn't come back to try the brisket.

P.S Their two smokers are named Notorious P.I.G and Tupork.
