Description: Coppi, located in the heart of the buzzing Cathedral Quarter, is Belfast’s first cichetti bacari/restaurant inspired by those found in Venice and named after cycling legend Angelo Fausto Coppi. Coppi has proved to be hugely popular since opening in 2012 and offers a great selection of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine served in the coolest of surroundings. We serve a range of cichetti (Italian style tapas) starters, main courses, pizzette and homemade pasta and desserts freshly made in the restaurant every day. Our bar area which offers counter and high rise seating is perfect for a light lunch or a casual evening meal, whilst the spacious restaurant area is able to cope with parties of all sizes. The restaurant also boasts an outdoor seating area for those sunny days. With an extensive and quirky wine list, Italian and local beers, and a stunning selection of cocktails Coppi is the perfect spot for a night out! Vegan menus, Sunday sharing roasts and 3-7-3 lunch menus available!

I love lively restaurants with a real buzz to them and Coppi did not disappoint. The restaurant is trendy, with a real buzz. Really good bar, decent wine list, and the food was good. St Anne's Square itself is terrific with other good places but I am really glad I discovered Coppi. Will return.

Located in St Anne's Square with convenient parking above in the multi-storey car park.

Nice atmosphere and helpful staff.

Menu was a little over-complicated for me but, having said that, the food was very nice and the staff were happy for us to have a nice leisurely lunch.

I had never even heard of Coppi until last week when a friend suggested we meet up there at the weekend. It is in the lovely St Annes Square which has a great trendy exciting vibe..as does Coppi. It was much bigger than I expected but the atmosphere was great...buzzing and chilled at the same time. We had a great corner booth, really comfy as I didnt much like the look of all the white plastic looking seats in the middle ( the only thing i didnt like :( ...sorry its just peronal taste).
The staff were really friendly and attentive..although not toooo attentive..and the food was great. We shared some of the wee starters which were delicicious and then I had my old favourite risotto and finished the plate. All in all a good night, its not a romantic spot but great for friends or pre theatre bite. Oh and I agree with other reviewers the music was a bit loud but it didnt spoil our evening. Cool place...will be back. :)

I recently booked a table for 2 on a Tuesday night. Atmosphere was great, busy, but service not compromised. Small sharing starters are fantastic (tip by 6 between 2 people @ £12 for the best selection) and the fresh crab pasta was stunning. The Montepulciano is a refreshing mid-priced accompaniment, and if you don't fancy dessert (the mains are more than adequate in size) a couple of Limoncellos make for a refreshing alternative! Will definitely be make - maybe to try the lunch menu which looks great.

Went to Coppi on a busy Friday night. Three couples.
The atmosphere was very lively with dining in a largish open-style setting.
Lighting was particularly low and made it difficult for me and friends to see the menu - also probably because we are getting on a bit!
The food was excellent especially the Steak Florentine (for two).
Prices were fairly reasonable considering the almost city centre location in the Cathedral Quarter.
Service was good to the table.
Could do with more toilets - just three in total, one disabled, two unisex. Really not enough for a large busy restaurant.
