Friendly cafe which is very accessible for wheelchair users & a central place to meet people in Belfast. Located in the City Hall building, which we recommend you take the opportunity to tour around (it's a free tour) if you have the time. Bobbins provides reasonably priced drinks & food, particularly for a snack or lunch - it also has daily specials.

The Bobbin is in the splendidly grand Belfast City Hall that I was bowled over by. I ordered a panini with cheese, onions and leeks that came freshly made and piping hot, served with crisps, fresh salad and a bowl of home made chutney. It was delicious and the service came with a smile. I was impressed with the food and friendly atmosphere.

Popped in for a quick lunch on a cold day in Belfast. Decent counter-service cafe at the back of a very interesting building, comfortable seats and a nice atmosphere. The vegetable soup with rustic bread was very good - and a huge portion. Reasonable price for the quality and quantity.

We visited this restaurant after our morning tour of City Hall. It is a spacious restaurant with an interesting exhibition of photographs of famous inhabitants of Belfast as well as a historical account of the development of Belfast.

There was a lovely aroma of cooked food, jacket potatoes, Irish Stew alongside soup, cakes, biscuits and home made sandwiches.

It is a self service restaurant, trays at one end, food in the middle, staff serving drinks and a till at the end.

We bought coffee and cake and it was very good and extremely reasonably priced compared to other coffee shops in the city.

Well worth a visit and plenty of other people were tucking in.
