“Sharing the best food secret in Belfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

I have been frequenting the Grapevine for a couple of years now and I honestly hate to have to eat anywhere else during the day. It is the best wee secret we have and i honestly don't want hundreds of people descending in 'my morning / lunch time cafe'. but I feel it is only fair to share with others.
Aaron and Greta cook the most wonderful food, tasty, wholesome and very reasonably priced. There are at least 3 soups on daily (all home cooked naturally) and wonderful specials, Aaron's fish chowder is better than in Grand Central Station New York and that is not an exageration. My favourite dish is the gumbo! They have both vegetarian and chicken and prawn. Both are excelent.

“Belfast's best.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013

It is with some reluctance I write this. Why? The Grapevine makes me feel selfish, it's one of those great little places you just want to keep to yourself.
The home-cooked food is very tasty and there is a great variety on the menu- the gumbo, quesadilla and soup always go down well. Vegetarians are well carted for and the daily specials are interesting and inviting.
It ticks all the boxes for me- great food, very responsibly priced (honestly- it's probably the best value for money in Belfast) and it's topped off by friendly and well- trained staff.

“excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Grapevine is one of my favourite places to eat in the city centre. Really tasty homemade food for complete pennies - most of the dishes are under £5! Staff are great too and there are a few tables outside for the rare occasion when the weather isn't horrible. I love this place, one of belfast's best kept secrets

“Must eat here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

I regularly pop into the Grapevine even if not to eat in. Takeaway lunch is also fab! The menu has a wide choice & everything is delicious & great value for money. I would recomend the gumbo, lasange, any hot sub & their greek salad! Yum!!
