If you are doing any of your own cooking while traveling, this is the hostel to pick. They have a massive kitchen with tons of food storage space and two sets of everything - countertops, burners, ovens, etc. There is a large space with tons of tables for eating, a pool table and TVs in one room and then another quieter room with great selection of movies playing. The place is spacious. The rooms are comfortable and really big. We stayed in a four bed dorm and it was massive. Really helpful staff. Great location. Would definitely stay here again. The guys working here really keep the place clean and it shows they take pride in the place they call home.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. But the "green box" beds, were small and not that comfortable. The breakfast was poor; jam, toast and cereals were not that good or fun, maybe cream cheese, ham or something would be nice. And for anyone interested in the Giant's Causeway, there are cheaper options than they recommend (25 pounds compared to Allen Tours that were only 16 pounds).

Room Tip: Ask for a room with enough "normal" beds if you want to avoid sleeping in tight little box...

Very Clean, well decorated and spacious hostel with great atmosphere. Has xbox, computer room, lounge and fully equipped kitchen for all guests to use. Bathroom had all sorts of perfumes, deodorants, shower gel as well. Staff were also very nice and friendly. 15 min walk to city center Overall, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Global Village, we were staying in a 4bed mixed dorm, rooms are basic (could do with a mirror, but I'm just being fussy now) but clean & the beds are comfy. The staff especially Fox were very friendly and helpful. Location perfect, I would def stay at this hostel again.

Standard Hostel. Great staff and very helpful. Loved the location of being close to the University in a beautiful part of the city. Easy walking distance to the bus station. Internet was unreliable but the desktop computers worked fine. Clean, basic room. Towels for rent.

We loved this place. Although the rooms were small with 4 suitcases, they were very clean. Nice bunk beds, white sheets, clean floors, etc. The staff was okay, but the other visitors really gave the place character. The hostel was close to many restaurants and stores and within reasonable distance from the Belfast castle, zoo, and titanic museum. Belfast is just an awesome city, and this was a sweeeet place to stay at.

We visited Belfast for the first time in September 2013 and we were really happy with Global Village hostel. We stayed for three nights in a double room, which was small but comfy. The hostel was clean, and had lots of free stuff - wi-fi, breakfast etc.

The best thing about this place is the location. Its a 2 minute walk away from Botanic Avenue which leads on to the city center, and loads of great pubs and restaurants.

(Our favourite pubs were Fibber McGees, Laverys and The Duke of York.)

The staff were welcoming and helpful and the rooms were quiet at night. Couldn't really ask for better value.

We hope to visit again some day!
