“Ten out of Ten!”
Reviewed May 14, 2013 via mobile

Just staying for one night I found this really nice little hotel by accident as most of the others were full. For a city centre this was a great location opposite the Town Hall and a few minutes walk to Lisburn Road where the restaurants and bars are it was ideal.

Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet and almost quaint boutique style hotel.

Large bar area and grill restaurant (closed on Mondays). Great food and very good value one night stay. Shame about the weather, but that's not the hotels fault.

I'll be back again soon.

Enjoy!

Perfect location in Belfast, my personal preference for hotel when out on the town in Belfast located within 10 minute walk of every bar/club that's worth going to. It may be only 4 stars but barring one it's better than any of the five star hotels and it is 5 star for location, great to use as a base of operations for drinking or even just shopping.
Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast but pay the extra £10 when booking as the breakfasts can be quite expensive if you don't.
Must say the beds are heavenly to the degree where I want to take it home with me

Great location right in the heart of belfast. Parking is a bit of an issue. Rooms were fine , great bed, but a noisy corridor and a poor fitting door didnt help with privacy. Bar was lively at the weekend and bar food was first class.

The hotel is sophisticated and the location is great. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant and the staff was very friendly. We stayed two nights and will choose Ten Square when we are back in Belfast

The hotel is located right in the heart of Belfast and directly behind Belfast City Hall. This is an ideal location for shopping, fun, relaxing, sight seeing and business purposes. The hotel is an old historic Grade 1 listed building that has been converted and restored into a very high quality hotel a few years ago, but has been maintained to a high standard. The hotel is very boutique in that the rooms are exceptionally large, well appointed and there are only 22 in total. The hotel offers a great restaurant and separate bar, which always have a very safe, warm and welcoming feel to them.

We attended a wedding during the day and enjoyed a great meal in the upstairs private room. It offered a quirky, intimate space suitable for all of the wedding guests, with a great central dance floor, comfortable seating area and excellent service.

As mentioned earlier, the bedrooms are very generously proportioned, with enormous and very comfortable beds. Features such as flat screen tv, ironing board, complimentary tea & coffee facilities with bottled water and biscuits, digital safe, luxury toiletries etc are all included. The rooms are finished in a traditional style, but are in no way old fashioned.

I'd best describe this hotel as a Malmaison on steroids. It has a dark, rich and luxurious feel. We will definitely return.

Lots of lovely memories came flooding back when we attended a family wedding here today as probably 8/9 years ago it was the place to go in Belfast for the fine dining restaurant (top chef Niall McKenna now of James Street South) and private club swiping card to gain entry mmhh.. However those days have passed and this was our first occasion back. It was simply a wonderful day with family and friends and though the timing of the food was a little late, it was still jolly good - duck rolls to begin with lovely little Asian salad, followed by Sea bass, wish I had chosen the roast beef however lol, too late......and then a lovely little dessert to finish....nice chilean wines to accompany....all in all good place to have a wedding reception I would suggest.....

Ten Square prices are probably average for a good restuarant in Belfast, but the food is great quality

I would recommend the fish and chips or scamp and chips - portions are huge and is served in a newspaper - takes me back to a kid! Steak is also very good, and the chicken kebab comes out on a hanger!

Recommend this place :)
