Having stayed here for a long weekend break I would highly recommend this hotel.
It has an excellent location with bars and restaurants around the corner and the main Cathedral Quarter with bars and restaurants galore a 15 min walk away .
It's a 10 minute taxi drive from George Best airport and it costs around £10 in a taxi.

The rooms are very Good, clean, modern and comfortable.
Breakfast is excellent and all the staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

A great hotel in a great location, good food, comfy bed and they serve Guinness !
What more do you need.

We visited Belfast, staying at the Holiday Inn.
I have rarely stayed in a major chain hotel where we had such a warm and friendly reception in every aspect of our stay.
The staff greeted us with smiles and our slightest query or request was dealt with immediately.
I thoroughly recommend a visit.

We last stayed here, a few years ago, when it was still the Days Inn. I have to say, it's MUCH better now, since it's been refurbished and become a Holiday Inn. Staff on check in, couldn't be more helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant at night this time. But, we did have breakfast. Would recommend the Ulster Fry - though you do serve yourself so you can have as little or as much as you want. Breakfast was fresh with lots to choose from.

The bar is also a lot better now, having moved slightly. Never had to wait long to be served drinks. And the draft beers were good. Especially the Hophouse 13 !

Good views of Belfast and the hills - though there is a wide open space at the back ( used to be a car park, but don't let this put you off). Would I stay again? Most definitely yes!

If travelling by bus or train, the rear entrance to Great Victoria Street train station and Europa Bus Station, are directly opposite the hotel entrance ( about 100m away ). Good connections to the airport by bus and train.

Everything. Starting from staff to rooms to washrooms to anything that you can comprehend, Holiday Inn excels in every service possible. Its almost adjacent to Europa Bus Center and Great Victoria Street train station and walking distance to the City Center, Belfast City Hall. This helps as well in commuting and planning travel.
