Cargoes opens on Friday and Saturday evenings with a different menu. As its B.Y.O. this represents a considerable saving although this is not the reason for booking. Quality is excellent and portions generous -service attentive.

Thank you for your kind words. At Cargoes we strive to have good food, service and helpful staff and it is appreciated when someone take the time to let us know that we are doing well. We were awarded "Best of the Best" in Georgina Campbell's all Ireland guide, in the cafe section, for this current year and we have plans for the coming months that we hope will improve things further for you. We hope to see you again.

We ate here with friends recently on a Saturday evening. Cargoes has the relatively bare-bones feel of a lunchtime cafe but the menu and service point to more up-market dining. It was hard to choose as we liked everything on the menu, the food tasted great and the service was excellent. We will certainly be back.

Called in Last week with my wife for a quick snack yet on spotting the Gourmet menu we dicided to return for lunch. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was excellent just as we expected and my wife Maria L said that the servings were quite filling. The food is great and only matched by
the friendliness of the staff. The girls told me that Cargoes Cafe also cater for staff parties and events which already has me thinking about our work do. We will be back for sure if only for
the coffee and tray bakes.

Stopped in without a reservation on a Friday night. Small menu with a handful of selections, but all sounded tasty. My husband and I both had a starter and main, and all 4 dishes were well proportioned and delicious. Nothing super fancy, but solid good food. Will definitely be back again!
