My husband and I stayed at Evelyn's B&B while visiting a family member who is studying at Queen's University. The B&B is in a convenient location to Queen's University and within walking distance (15-20 minute walk) of the city centre. Our taxi driver had some difficulty finding the B&B at first, but it wasn't a big problem. The B&B itself is lovely - beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I had been a little nervous about sharing a bathroom but it wasn't a problem at all; we stayed in the green bedroom, and the bathroom and toilet were just a few steps down the hall. Lynn was a kind and gracious host; she was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed meeting her cute little dog, too! It was a neat experience and felt like we were staying in the home of a friend. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend Evelyn's B&B to anyone visiting Belfast.

Room Tip: We stayed in the green bedroom which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

I travelled to NI with my teenaged daughter. We arrived to a warm welcome and shown to our lovely warm, comfortable room. It was beautifully furnished, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom facilities were equally charming. The owner could not have made us more welcome. The breakfast was superb. The accommodation is very well place for the University. Wholly recommended!

Lynn runs a wonderful bijoux B&B just off the Malone Road ... close to Queens Uni and Restaurants just behind the Wellington Park Hotel. Located in a great quiet location, a welcoming warm homely place to stay, and a really tasty breakfast. Great value in this listed victorian house ... check out the 19th century olde world shower !

The B&B was lovely. It was a good distance from the Botanic Gardens and Station and so it was really easy to get around Belfast and the surrounding area. The room was clean, bright and very big, with a very comfortable bed, which made getting up in the morning very difficult. However the tasty home cooked breakfast helped rise us. The breakfast was cooked freshly when you arrived at the table, which was a nice personal touch. The owner was very friendly and accommodated our early eating times when we had a catch a train at 8.30 in the morning. Although the bathrooms are shared, there was never a queue, and the rest of the house was reasonable quiet, and we were undisturbed.

Overall a brilliant place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to all those wanting to stay in a more unique and individual place. 10/10

This is a wonderful place to stay at. Here you can enjoy the welcoming and warm atmosphere. You will be amazed at how beautiful the house is, thanks to its great owner. The rooms are of excellent quality. It has a great location within easy reach of the city centre and close to Queen's University. I highly recommed this place.

If you want prefer an anonymous stay in a bland bedroom in a huge impersonal hotel where nobody knows your name then don't stay in Evelyn's B and B. However if you are ready to enjoy the craic, stuff yourself silly on an Ulster fry and get to know Kerry, the dog, who will forgive you if you have a veggie breakfast then this is the B and B for you. Stay in this lovely 19th house with an amazing Victorian shower and lovely shabby chic bedrooms and you have a fabulous base to explore Belfast. You won't have an ensuite bathroom or a little table where you eat a solitary breakfast but a lovely shared experience around a big table with other guests in front of a warming range. The B and B is in the university area with a great range of restaurants and to me, sums up the Belfast experience, to get the best of that wonderful city, you need to dive in and remember, that life is about people and sharing what you did that day and enjoy the suggestions of what you could do. We had a great stay!
