This was our first venture out to the 4th Wall restaurant, having sampled some of the other eateries now commonplace around the Cathedral quarter, we were looking forward to trying something new. We were not disappointed! From the well thought out menu, to the attentive but not overbearing service, we were delighted. I started with the pea risotto, not knowing quite what to expect, suffice to say the taste was as outstanding as the colour! I moved onto the lamb, not a usual choice for me, as I'm quite fussy when it comes to meat I believe needs an expert hand. Again, cooked to perfection, so much so that I was completely unable to manage dessert, of the utmost significance and deserving of a mention as being a chocoholic, having a dessert menu which included a mysterious creation named 'chocolate nemesis' it was a first! Instead we settled for a Bellini cocktail, the peach puree made fresh on the premises! Having not long returned from Venice where Webb's sampled the original Bellini in Harry's Bar where they were invented, I can honestly say, these were by far superior! The perfect meal, but most outstanding, was that it was thoroughly savored and enjoyed in a totally ambient atmosphere deliberately created to encourage conversation among diners, just as all good dining experiences should be! We'll most definitely be back, and better prepared so as to try that chocolate nemesis - watch this space!
