Stayed here last weekend (fri-sun), for the "2 night dinner B&B" offer in order to see a show in the opera house. I specifically choice this hotel based on overall price, location, free wifi and free parking availability. Particularly the latter, as we wanted to avoid city-centre charges. Given all factors, we were not disappointed by the Ramada Plaza at all, and I would recommend this hotel to others for a short stay based on our experience. The dinner we had in our deal was tasty, not exceptional, but the Ramada still comes recommended, based on taste and portion sizes for a 3-course meal, we were 'nicely' filled, without feeling 'over-full'. We stayed in a room on the ground floor which suited us well, It was basic, but clean, (standard double), which is all we needed, so no complaints. Noise levels were Zero, our room looked out on car parking, which didn't bother us, as a good night's sleep, without interruption was more important, which we got both nights. staff were pleasant also. I would recommend this hotel to others, but just to note, for anyone wishing to use the city centre and rely on taxi's, a return taxi fare cost us the guts of £20 (based on one return trip to/from the opera house). Even at this, we still saved on city hotel car park fees across two nights. Personally I would maybe visit a city hotel next time, just to compare, but the Ramada Plaza, is worth a stay in my experience, it just depends on individual reasons and choices for booking. We ate in the bar -a very tasty and enjoyable lunch before we set off for the theatre. food was delicious, but bar staff were somewhat disappointing for a 4* hotel! -sat for a good 20 mins before asking staff to take our order... the place was deserted, i could understand if it was busy! That alone would put me off a place. all in all though, a pleasant stay, all things considered. buffet Breakfast was just average, nothing special, but it filled a hole... figuratively speaking

We stayed 3 nights with 4 children. The staff were excellent and helpful, even helping to cut my youngest daughters food up when I was dining alone with the children. The pool was great fun and the staff in the LA Fitness centre were also very friendly.
The playroom would have been great if it had not been trashed the weekend before we arrived. I reported broken tikes car and the floor piano. The maintenance man came immediately fixed everything but could not get the piano to work. When I tried to lift it out of the way I discovered it was sticking to the floor as juice had been spilled everywhere! I was disappointed that it had not been checked and cleaned.
The food in the hotel dining room was fantastic. Great choice and cooked just as requested.
Rooms were pleasant enough, plenty storage space, complimentary toiletries, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities and a drinks fridge.
I would have no problem staying there again.

Stayed here for one night on a business trip and was impressed with the hotel and staff. The hotel is modern and efficient with clean well appointed rooms. The fridge in the room was a bit noisy but not intrusive for me - may be a problem for some people. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. Certainly would use this hotel again.

upon arriving in the ramada the hotel its self was impressive, beautiful and very clean, but upon check in the man at the desk i found a little unfriendly , he jst gave me key and that was it no hope u enjoy ur stay are small talk as such. room was a delux king but was pretty basic compared to other hotels, resturant staff were lovely and couldnt fault them. On checking out i recieved the same man who jst took key and said oh uve paid and walked away, maybe it was because we wer a young couple but we paid the same price as anyone else staying and should of recieved the same customer service as he greeted older customers with the day before eg a smile,a how are you, a hope you enjoy your stay.

Stayed with my family for a weekend and wouldn't say a bad word. Very nice staff, rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast wasn't the best i tried in Ireland but the restaurant food was awesome!
Location is alright, very posh area, quiet and very safe. There is a supermarket just 5 minutes walk from the hotel, was very handy to have it there. Taxi rid to City Center is about 8 quid which isn't so bad considering the distance.
In the bar they've got Sky Sports TV, so you never miss the games.
Very happy with the stay and definitely coming back there again!

This is our second time staying at the Ramada as it is so near family and friends and easy to get into town.

The check in was easy quick and simple and there was plenty of room in the front car park as it was a weekday.

I had requested a room with a walk in shower but we were given a ground floor disabled room ..I thought the hotel would have rooms with separate showers instead of over the bath.

All was well until morning when my husband had his shower. The water just seeped under the door of the shower and all over the bathroom floor, behind the toilet ,under the handbasin.
we were paddling in it.

Thankfully housekeeping was near by and she managed to mop it up with lots of towels and gave us plenty to use the next morning. We packed around the shower with towels managing to save the floor from becoming a paddling pool. I think maybe the drain in the shower needs to be enlarged or cleared of debris.

I love the king sized beds but would be happier if it had a sheet as well as a duvet.

We didn't eat in the hotel this visit so cannot comment, but would definitely stay again.

I left my gold ear rings behind in the room and just a phone call to reception and they were found and kept for 2 weeks till I returned to Belfast .Thank you

Room Tip: If not disabled do not request a room with walk in shower.. ground floor rooms look out on to the ca...
