Booked a two night break for me and my husband, Thursday to Saturday. Bed and breakfast with evening meal only 190£. Situated in a Lovely area of Belfast only 10-15 min drive to city centre or Lisburn. 5 minute drive to ravens hill ulsters rugby ground. Hotel had every thing you need for a two night stay, pool, gym, steam room, sauna and spa treatments, got a wonderful facial and the staff were very nice, you even get 10% off if you were staying with the hotel. There was a nail bar and hairdressers in the hotel also. The green room restaurant was lovely as we had a meal included we were weary of the menu but it was just the same as if you had paid then and there. I Got a massive steak with all the trimmings and my husband had the Indian which he enjoyed. The restaurant staff were first class our waiter imran was excellent, witty as well as professional!! The breakfast was everything you would expect from a breakfast. Our room was clean and spacious with tea facilities, mini bar on request and with bath and shower facilities. There was a lovely bar with pub grub but there was not to many people in it. Before we left we noticed canoeing facilities across the road in a park area which could be booked and the hotel also hired bikes. Overall great location with plenty to do nearby.

Stayed at the hotel for three nights for business. Room was standard expected for 4* hotel with no issues. Shower was not powerful enough especially in the morning, bit better in the evening. Rooms have temperature control and were very hot through night so AC was required. This hotel has a health suite, used the pool, sauna and steam room which were all okay. The disappointment of this hotel was choice of food on the menu. First night had steak with whisky sauce could not taste the sauce very bland. Second night had the Indian food that the serve at the hotel, it was tasty enough, but had much better. Decided not to eat in hotel as the menu choice is so limited. No pasta or chicken on the main menu. Ate out at Blue Chicago which was tasty and large portions. Breakfast was okay with plenty of choice but was not value for money at £12.50 per person, my colleague had two slice of toast and a pot of tea and was billed £8.50.
Overall I would choose another hotel if I stayed in this area again.

Dear gazaj

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Ramada Plaza Belfast. We very much appreciate your comments and feedback both positive and negative during your stay with us. We are sorry to learn that you found the menu limited at this time for choice. We understand we have table h 'dote menu, but also have a full A la Carte Menu with various sections also Indian Spice section combined, this menu has a couple of chicken dishes under the char-grilled section which has a number of dishes to suit all tastes. Our Restaurant Manager and our chefs are more than happy to assist where possible to suit the guests requirements or special requests. You also mentioned breakfast which we offer a wide range of buffet for full breakfast and continental to choose from which you can select as much as you want, we normally would just charge for tea and toast accordingly. However we very much respect your comments at this time and hope that you found everything else within the hotel satisfactory . We do hope we can welcome you back on another occassion, assuring you of our best attention at all times.

I recently stayed in the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Belfast whiclst attending a business function. The decor of the hotel from the entance through to the bedrooms is modern and welcoming, as are the staff. Bedrooms are spotless with a good atmosphere of relasation due to the furniture etc. The food is magnificent and the serviuce both curteous and fast. The only down side is the fact that the hotel is between two major opublic transport routes, but is however served well by local taxis. Set in the Lagan Valley the surroundings are breathtaking with the River Lagan and its tow path a short walk from the front door. An excellent place for a business function and for a family stay in Belfast.

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms on the first floor have a fantastic view of the River Lagan

Room was spacious and clean enough and bathroom was fine. Ordered room service on first night of my stay which made me really ill through the night. Told reception the next morning so they could speak to the restaurant...never got any kind of apology from them and the dinner was still on my bill when I checked out the day after!
