My boyfriend and I go here all the time!!! Its such a hidden gem. The pizza is authentic, and the menu selection is great. All made better by the BYO drink policy. Great place to go if you fancy a relaxed meal or something cheap & cheerful.

The pizza was great. The base really makes it. Sides of garlic bread and garlic potatoes were excellent. Chef is very nice. Great with the kids. Toilets could do with being re-furbished. Overall very good

Had a meal here last week, the food is good and the staff are lovely but the place is tired and in need of a lick of paint. This was my 5th visit to Opera and I can see a decline in the interior. The bathroom is absolutely filthy - couldn't wait to get out the door. Too bad Opera owners and staff cant see what is going wrong

The pizza in Opera is great; proper Italian pizza base with a somewhat inventive and humorous menu. It's not about gourment pizzas, but simple ingredients made good. The atmosphere is lovely, with candles on the little tables and a cosy vibe. Also, it's bring your own, so the bill comes out cheap! Go here expecting a nice atmosphere but minimal fuss.

Had a meal in here this evening (26.03.13), it was extremely busy as it was a Tuesday evening so we sat at the high seats by the door, even though the friendly waitress suggested we go for a drink and she would call us when a table came free. As usual the food was delicious, opera pizza and caluso (?) pizza with garlic potatoes... This is the best pizza place in Belfast! Hopefully it won't expand as half it's charm is its small interior! Great for a meal out with friends too as its BYOB. Amazing quality 'real' food and atmosphere. Blonde waitress was very accommodating and chefs were succinct in their speedy cooking of their many orders!! Thanks will be back again...and again..and again! Also - candles in bottles are a great touch :)
