Owner description: The Titanic Belfast visitor attraction extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition. Drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features you will explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day in the Ocean Exploration Centre.

I am an avid museum visitor and have to say this was one of the coolest, highest-quality exhibits I've seen in my life. The building itself is amazing. Every part of it was interesting and interactive. The ride that takes you around to show how the workers would have crouched to rivet the metal, and how high up they were on the gantry really makes you feel like you were there. I was a little less interested in the under-the-sea part, but most of the others in my group loved it. Also, the food in the coffee shop was excellent. My tip is to give yourself 3-4 hours to see everything. With only 2 hours I was rushed at the end, and didn't get to see any of the things outside the building in the "Titanic Quarter."

This must rate as one of the best exhibitions we have been to in the last 20 years. Some very nice interactive parts and lots of history. Please allow three hours- you will not regret it and will not feel too tired.
The menu for lunch of April 14th, 1912 rescued from a floating handbag is particularly spine- tingling.
The people who put this together really gave it a lot of thought. Also walk outside round the hull of the Titanic to get an idea of its size. A memorable experience and not expensive for the price. Do not miss it.

What a wonderful museum to pay tribute to the Titanic! So much to see!! Leave yourself 2 hours to see it all!! Highlights are the ride and the tour of the Titanic. Gift shop is definitely worth a look!! Worth taking a walk down to the Thompson dry dock which was the final berthing place before going on to Southampton for her maiden voyage. Tip is to pre book your tickets online and get a 5% discount.

As other reviewers have mentioned, much of the focus here is on the ship building in Belfast. They've done well with this focus. The immensity of the building compliments its subject well. We were there in off season and I would probably avoid the place in high season. The ride through the ship yard would not warrant standing in line for. The displays of the interior of the Titanic was the highlight as well as the video that started at the bottom of the ship and went up through all the floors, highlighting the contrast between the classes. We spent 2 hours in the museum which was enough time to see most of the displays but not read all the information. Admission is steep, but they have an expensive building to pay off.
