Owner description: The Titanic Belfast visitor attraction extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition. Drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features you will explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day in the Ocean Exploration Centre.

“Enlightening tour”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

I did the walking tour which took in the dry dock and the pump house where Titanic and Olympic were fitted out. The young lady giving the tour talked from start to finish with so much background knowledge and enthusiasm I was captivated and educated. A credit to her age group showing so much understanding of the spectrum of the work force and their conditions of employment. This is only half the package available and I'm going back to do the newly opened £97million exhibition hall of this bedamned shipped. Well done Belfast

“Great attraction but beware of overcharging”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

On arrival we decided to go to the Bistro for breakfast, a menu was displayed and we decided to have the Breakfast bap at £6.50 which included complimentary coffee, on paying they tried to charge me £7 plus £2 for coffee which for 4 people was an overcharge of £10, I explained to the girl that this was not as priced on their menu but she did not want to know, i protested and only for the intervention of another staff member who said we were right we would have left, a manager came on the scene shortly afterwards but we got no apology for our server's attitude and as we were leaving the building we were glared at by the Bistro manager. Overall I would say the Titanic is a great visitor experience and I would highly recommend it but staff training & correct pricing on the menus needs to be implemented in the bistro

“A must see in Belfast”
Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

Coming to Titanic Belfast was one of our main reasons for visiting Belfast & we really enjoyed it. It's as much about the history of the city as well as the ship. The shipyard ride was a highlight. The only bad aspect was the annoying commentators in the theatre where you see the ship's remains on the seabed - annoying Americans asking unneccessary questions as part of the narative. I would've prefered silence or just a normal commentary. Other than that, really enjoyed it. Don't forget to get a souvenir ticket at the end.

“The disability”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

This place is brilliant for people to visit but it would not be very suitable for children under 12 because there is a lot of reading . It is also brilliant if you r disable there is plenty of room for a scooter and a chair. So please visit.

Let's get some things straight. 1.) The ship is not here. 2.) No artifacts recovered from the seabed are here. 3.) If you want to see "the staircase", buy a ticket for afternoon tea. 4.) Book your tickets in advance and turn up on time. If you've managed to accept all that, your visit to the Titanic Experience will be enjoyable.........
Car parking - surface and underground sites are available. The outside of the building is impressive in pictures, spectacular in reality. Staff are friendly and welcoming, signage and directions are clear. The exhibition is sub-divided into themed sections, and you are free to move as quickly or as slowly as you wish. It took us two and a half hours, at a medium pace, to cover it all. Certainly very informative, a lot of very interesting material, well presented. There is good use of audio/visual and interactive screens etc.. All in all, well worth the trip (and the price), we enjoyed it and would recommend it. If you can't manage to fit this into your itinerary, here's the short version of the story - "The Titanic was o.k. when it left us....."
