“Not a fluke”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

This was the second time myself and my partner have eaten at the Allotment. Both times using a voucher. Once again the service and food was first class. I work in the catering industry and appreciate how much work and organisation goes into running any establishment. I did notice that one couple were not happy about where they had been seated and although the manager tried to explain that each table had been pre- booked and there was a time scale for each table these customers were not happy and left. All I can say is " you missed a great meal" If another deal is on offer I will deffo be taking it. Thank you all at the Allotment and I hope to see you again soon !!!!

“A gem of a restaurant.”

This was a real find. The food was superb - fresh ingredients, locally sourced and well presented. If the sea bream is available you must try it!Highly recommended. It has no licence so you need to bring your own wine/beer.

Visited Allotment when looking for somewhere to have breakfast during our weekend in Belfast. Great value freshly cooked irish breakfast with excellent soda bread. Use your enjoy ireland card here for discounts on your food. Well worth visiting for wholesome food and friendly service.

“Small and friendly”
Reviewed June 2, 2012

Enjoyed a very enjoyable meal with 6 friends here. The menu is small but there is something for everyone. The service was attentive and friendly, although the restaurant was very quiet for a Friday night in Belfast, so maybe lacked a little atmosphere - but being a BYO, it was cheap and cheerful and our party more than made up for that in the later part of the evening!
