“A proper pint and good food is what you'll find here.”

The service here elevated the experience to worth sharing from decent. The people in the bar were great to talk to and very informative. This is more of a locals bar than tourist spot. The view of the opera house from just outside the front door was great.

“Good place for beer (and a snack)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2013 via mobile

Resturant are at 1st floor. The layout of the resturant are very nice. The menu is limited but the service was great. I had fish and chips and a beer and I give the beer a 10 out of 10, and the fish and ships a 6 out of 10.

“very disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

Booked a table tonight as pre theatre. The front of house staff were welcoming and pleasant. The menu appears to be good value but appearances are deceptive. There were four in my party and not one of us had a good meal. The cod and chips were dreadful totally over cooked and the chicken strips didn't fair much better. First and last time visiting the upstairs in Robinson's to be avoided at all costs. :(

“Disgruntled and unhappy staff”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

We entered the bar with no greeting from staff even though it was very quiet. The bar man gave no eye contact when serving and when I tried to make conversation with the girl behind the bar she did the same and walked away. The two of them never smiled or engaged with any customers the whole of our visit which is a shame as Belfast, we found, was an extremely welcoming and friendly city.
