“Great food”

We ate here 3 nights and it was really good, staff very attentive great value for money. Sad thing about this restaurant is you can't tell from the street how nice it is.

“Reputation failed”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

Visited Robinsons on recommendation, as we were staying at the Europa Hotel opposite.
Order was for 'fish and chips'. The restaurant was not busy, but it still took 30mins to arrive.
The fish was dry with no taste, and covered in a very hard batter and dull looking which tasted of old cooking oil.
In reality it was not edible. Having left most of the meal on the plate, the waiter showed no interest in why I had left the meal. Would not recommend.

“VENUE WITH EVERYTHING”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Gives you everything you need on a visit to Belfast.
Bistro restaurant provides great value in a beautiful setting. Pre theatre well priced. Full menu for special night suits every taste and service is great. Sports Bar with loads of screens and good variety of beer brands. Disco not my scene but locals says it and the karaoke are a good night out for younger element.

Fibber Magee,s was highlight for us Genuine Irish music in a great setting.

You must visit when in Belfast even if only for a pint or cup of tea/coffee

“Fab food”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

This place is definitely worth visiting if you are in Belfast. It has a 2 course pre theatre menu which we all had. This costs £11.95 - excellent value with a good choice of starters and mains. You can have 3 courses aswell but the portions are generous and we were full up after 2. After our meal we went downstairs to the Saloon bar for more drinks. There are 5 venues in all in this establishment - something for everyone.

“Fibber Magee's”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

We found Fibber Magees because it's an expression used by my niece. Ordered Irish Coffee. Now, it took a long time to get it....but it was totally worth the wait! They had to brew fresh coffee for us, so that's why the wait. We'd been ordering Irish Coffee for over a week all over Ireland and many of the places serve it with instant coffee (not so good) But Fibbers was great, fresh brewed coffee and real, just whipped, whipped cream. Oh my goodness.....I could have had many many cups of that Irish Coffee at Fibber Magees!!!
