If I lived near this bar, I would be a regular. It's got everything over 3 floors, from drinks, food, music/entertainment and pool. Staff, and crowd are friendly, and it's very comfortable. There's large TV's to watch sports, and juke box to boot. The only thing that's missing a "bookies"!!! Smashing boozer.

“Football and Food”

Watch the match, have a Sunday roast and enjoy a special offer on beer, what can be better? I visit this place as often as I possibly can. I'd go back every Sunday if I could!

“Excellent pub grub, busy sports bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2014

The Pavilion has really great food for pub grub, just don't expect a quiet meal. I go most often for the Sunday roast and its usually packed and noisy with all the matches on the TV's. So as long as you know that and get into whatever game is on its a brilliant place.

“service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2014

The pavillion or "big house"as its know is a lovely bar if only the staff where more attentive to the customer for example when I entered the bar and took a seat to have something to eat, picked what I would like to eat and tried to get the attention of a member of staff after a few minutes I went up to the bar where I was ignored for 5 mins then a member of staff came out of hiding from the back and stood in front of me for a further 2 mins on her kindle!! I mean really! Would you accept this type of service?

“My favourite place to be”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

I'm in love with the bar, the food, the service, the staff, the regulars, the music and the craic! Typical Irish pub with a roaring fire going.

Recommend the steak deal, gorgeous, sirloin with onions and mushrooms, side and sauce and a drink for £12.95, couldn't beat it.

Check their special board too, amazing curry when they have it on.
