This is my second stay as this hotel and I love the location. It is next to Queens Uni and that means there are tons of pubs/restaurants that are of good value. Plus...music all the time. The shopping is great too!

Took the family up for a few days over the mid term and had a great time. The hotel is bright and welcoming and our room clean and spacious and well equipped . Plenty to eat at breakfast, but glad we were down early. Availed of the £10 two course dinner special on one of the nights and it was tasty and very good value. Bit taken aback that we had to pay for our parking though - this is silly, especially for residents. Location is great, just across from museum which is fab. Will come back.

This was a great hotel in South Belfast near Queens University and the Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum. The rooms were good with comfortable beds and the softest pillows but the real joy was the incredibly helpful and friendly staff who were a great introduction to Belfast.

This hotel is situated near to the University, although my visit was before the start of Spring term had begun. I was greeted with a warm greeting, but the solo receptionist was more preoccupied with answering the constantly ringing telephone, than with providing me with a swift check in process.
The corridors of the hotel, have a very 60’s feel with round windows and décor, however the rooms are bright and modern. My spotlessly clean double room had a single and double bed, desk chair, easy chair, and felt a little cramped for space. I was slightly frustrated with the lack of a traditional hanging rail, and instead faced with a track with hangers clipped onto it, which caused me to re-hang all my clothing. The bathroom was a good size with a bath and a very powerful and exhilarating shower. There is an open bar and restaurant just off the reception. I experienced the bar, but arrived too late for the restaurant and also did not experience breakfast, as it sounded too expensive for what you were to receive (cooked breakfast £10!). Instead I popped across to the adjacent supermarket and bought some fresh pastries and refreshments.
This hotel is an inexpensive comfortable hotel situated in the University area of Belfast, although this trip could become expensive with all the extras available, and also potential noisy and lively with two student bars in close proximity.

We were up to see the Ireland - England Cricket International and selected this hotel as our base. It is about a 15 to 20 minute walk into the city and the location is nice. It appears to be a quite safe area. The hotel and staff are nice and we were upgraded to an executive room for both nights of our stay. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom had some mildew in the corner as it was not ventilated correctly. It was more unsightly than unhygenic though :). A few minutes walk from the hotel is a great (and cheap) Italian restaurant called Villa Italia. There were a lot of bars and restaurants in the area around Queens University and a really great book shop called No Alibis that specialises in murder and mystery novels. The only really bad part of our stay was the Bitbuzz broadband wireless connection which was not very fast and had to be paid for at Internet cafe rates. If you logged off incorrectly your time continued to tick down even though you were no longer online. Maybe I am naive but I really think that wireless broadband should be free to guests. The speeds it went at were comparable to my 3G dongle ie terrible. The only other comment I would have is that guests have to pay £5 for overnight parking in the hotel.

We had are wedding reception here and ourselves and many guests stayed overnight. We had a great day. The staff were so helpful and kept us informed about what was happening and any changes we had were dealt with quickly and fuss free. The service was out of this world. All staff members were polite, smartly dressed and approachable. The food was excellent and all are guests seemed to enjoy it. Any dietary needs were easily catered for. The rooms were very clean and we found them quite reasonably priced. All in all i have to say the service provided by the staff was incredible. As a bride i had a very stressed free day and my guests commented on what a relaxed and enjoyable day they had and i feel a lot of this was down to the warm atmosphere which the staff of the wellington park provided. I will definitely use this hotel again for a special occasion or advise anyone who is staying in belfast to avail of the wellington.

We checked in early saturday morning so we could maximise our day away from the kids. The reception staff looked after our bags and suggested some things to do near by while we waited for our room. When we returned our bags had been already sent to our room so we just chilled out in their huge lounge. That evening reception had organised a taxi to take us to our Restaurant. We returned to the hotel and enjoyed a few night caps before calling it a night. Everything was just so relaxed and friendly!
