Not the most modern hotel I've ever stayed at but the fantastic personnel at this establishment made for a memorable stay. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff of the Wellington made sure that we will return to this perfectly situated hotel.

Within walking distance from Queens University and the majestical Botanical Gardens, the hotel is perfectly situated for the sightseeing tourist to Belfast. There is a bus stop (both city bus and 'hop on hop off') directly outside the hotel and being on a fairly busy road, cabs are available as and when required.

A hearty breakfast is served every morning and although the room service menu is pretty limited, the meals are lovely.

We had a terrific time and I would like to commend the personnel for their attentive care and considerate efforts in the assistance offered to guests with disabilities.

Well done and thank you for making our stay extra special!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel on a stopover on or way to a holiday.
This hotel alway had a great reputation so we looked forward to a nice stay.
On arrival we were given a room that was vey run down and shabby. We complained and were moved to a much nicer room.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is very close to the Ulster Museum and botanic gardens both well worth a visit.
There are a number of fast food places within walking distance and there did not seem to be a problem bringing food back to the room.
Breakfast was very nice and plentiful server in a nice area.
I would suggest that some money needs to be spent to bring it back to a 4 star standard.

Stayed here for one night!! Reception, bar area, restaurant - all nice! But our room was in serious need of updating! Very old fashioned- musty smelling and some places looked very dirty - such as bathroom door and inside wardrobe! Breakfast was nice in morning and loads of parking!

As a visiting Australian women's hockey group to Belfast, the Wellington Park was booked prior to leaving Australia as the venue for our contingent welcome dinner. We found the Wellington Park with enquiries and recommendations with the Belfast Welcome Centre via the Internet. From the very first email contact with the hospitality manager our needs and expectations were quickly and professionally addressed. Our group of 40 were most impressed with every aspect of the evening. Friendly staff, efficient service, superb food and very reasonable cost for a 3 course meal. The choice from 3 options for each course catered for all tastes and dietary needs within the group. The location was in close proximity to our University accommodation and the evening of good food in a welcoming restaurant environment set the stage for a wonderful week in Belfast.

Just stayed at the hotel service from reception was good. My room wasn't great cracked glass at bottom of glass wardrobes and socket coming away from wall. Was given £20 refund but really a 4 star hotel should not have issues like that. Very poor

We stayed in this hotel for the night in May. Hotel room was clean bathroom could definately have done with being re furbished. The bathroom fan was pretty loud so not so relaxing in the bath! We found all the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. There was supposed to be wi fi in the whole hotel but it seemed to have a problem in the room we were in as it was quite far away from reception but when we asked about this they did offer to change our room if we liked. We found it quite a walk into the centre and to be honest after walking in shopping for the day and walking back the last thing we wanted was to go back again in the evening but there was quite a lively pub with live music on over the road. Prob better to call the taxi if you are heading in and out of the centre.
